Guys, I know I NEED to improve. You're telling me the stuff I've known for years. The thing is, one can only improve so much at a time.

That's generally how improvement works. Also nobody just said "improve", we offered advice.
STM I know it's a basic critique, but I've already said that it has to be at this point because of the stage she's at.
