I think we have all had shit go on and it gets us down, it's healthy to poke fun at it once in a while. I wouldn't mind people making a joke out of my suicide attempts because it's a joke.

yeah well, that's your opinion. just because
you don't give a shit doesn't mean everyone else holds the same values as you. if that were the case no one would ever be offended by a joke because "it's a joke". even if the person it's at the expense of doesn't mind, that doesn't necessarily make it ok. it's distasteful. if someone were to joke about my granny dying or something i would troll the shit out of them in response.
and just for the record, "it's a joke" is usually something only
jerks say. and it's a terrible excuse.
