The Mother series, so EarthBound and Mother 3 with the translation patch. Excellent games with an impressive balance of humor and emotion. I've always been intrigued by the Mother series and now I get to play Earthbound without dealing with pesky graphical glitches from an emulator. By a fairly wide margin what I consider my 'most best favouritest' game series.
Resident Evil 4 and The Mercenaries 3D are by far my favourite action games. RE4 is worth replaying an unlimited number of times. It appeals to my enjoyment of head-splosions, shooting catholics in the knee, and bad (I mean SHITTY BAD) action movie dialogue.
I've put more time and energy into Team Fortress 2 than any other multiplayer game, with the arguable exception of my time spent across the Dark Souls Series. TF2 is always fun and still feels satisfying to get back into just to shake the rust off of my skills at the game.
Fun fact: I've never had a computer powerful enough to run TF2 at anywhere close to max settings, so tons of my skill in the game has relied on muscle memory and correct timing to accommodate frame drops. Despite the game being close to a decade old now, I'm still chasing that dream of bothering to get a computer decent enough to run it functionally so I can get REALLY good. Still, I've put something like 2-3000 hours in it over the last eight years.
And finally, the Souls series. Easily the most well-crafted, traditionally concepted game series currently on the market. Dark Souls 3 looks absolutely phenomenal and I've loved everything that preceded it, for better or worse. Dark Souls 2 wasn't exactly the strongest entry in the series, but the soul is back in Souls and it looks excellent.
