this is actually the exact reason why i don't often contribute to discussions and the like. i just can't find the energy to keep responding in a debate anymore. answering post after post with long replies to defend my point of view feels pretty tedious after all these years. i don't have the patience anymore, and i don't have anything to prove, so i usually only ever post when we're joking around or when i see something i think is out of line and feel compelled to respond with some home truths.
