So, here's what I think: y'all should
CALM THE FUCK DOWN. This is a press release. A press release that is specifically responding to the criticisms of the previous game. A very vaguely worded press release that is filling all of your heads with ideas of what the game is going to be like. It doesn't actually say that Abe is leading all 300 muds across the desert, although that's what many of you have assumed. It doesn't say that it's a new game set in between AO and AE, but there's many people suggesting that too.
Here's what I interpretted the press release to mean: It's going to be AE but slightly less cartoony. Nothing more, nothing less.
All of you are just asking to be disappointed when the game comes out and it's not the wonderous fantabulousness you're imagining. Jeez, do Oddworld fans never fucking learn?
