So do you think we're getting a more or less new Abe game with familiar settings? Or just more depth and a change in the storytelling?

Personally, I'm hoping we get an expanded version of the original Exoddus story. I don't want to see a ton of retconning (especially if it makes the ending of NnT make no sense as a result), but I am looking forward to seeing what Lanning's "original" vision of the story was.
So long as they don't try to be ridiculously edgy and grim (which you just
can't do with a cast as cartoony as the Oddworld characters) and keep that nice touch of dark humor,
and keep Abe as an endearing dumbass, I'll be happy.
