Context - if I'd just been involved with a misunderstanding with someone over their sexuality then maybe I'd be careful using the word "faggot" for a while. Or maybe I wouldn't. And is the word faggot really used all across the forum? I think I use it occasionally. Maybe Mac Sirloin does too.
Reading back over that thread after Nate's post you took it in that direction before you even used the word "tranny" or "dyke". I don't know why people fixated on that one word - there's a good reason I've kept my head down in this - but your not-edit was where it started.
