Hmm seems a lot of negative opinions which is unfortunate.
On the flip side I managed to get over my motion sickness by simply not playing DOOM in full screen, with a smaller window it's much easier on my eyes. 
Hopefully the game does have enough positives to make it a worthy eddition to D00M. I'll be sure to post about it here and any SnapMap things I make.
