The people making this game have no understanding of why Doom is so well loved. The gameaplay looks like bland corridor walk and pew. The gameplay demos have involved a lot of walking in a straight line towards enemies and just shooting them. No room for side strafing.

Multiplayer looks bad too. Loadouts, slow movement, gimmicky transformations. They talk about how fast and fun it will be but everything indicates yet another bland lowest common denominator console-centric shooter.

I mean look, if you're Bathesda and you're making a game like this then I can understand why they're playing it safe. Just don't set it up to be like a classic Quake or Doom game because it isn't.
