Thanks for the advice, smoother cuts coming next time! (or simply less).

I don't know much about the editing side of this stuff, but one trick might be to record the lead vocals in one take as a reference and then make sure the cuts feel natural compared to that.
But in an ideal world I'd do vocals in the biggest block possible.
