Vykkers were originally tree dwelling creatures right? Well, to me at least, it dosn't seem like they have very good means of doing this (climbing trees). Their stumpy legs would probably be terrible for climbing as would be their scrawny little arms. I think that the stitches on the Vykkers legs are the result of them amputating their other arms. I think that their three "legs" used to be their primary limbs for climbing. But they were terrible for walking on flat ground. So (and pretend your a Vykker for a moment
) what is the obvious thing to do?
Cut them off. I think that the Vykkers removed the rest of their "legs" because they simply were hard to walk on.
