I never understand why men ever want to do this to women. I get that it's gonna be tighter and it's like a "forbidden zone" but they have a perfectly good vagina there. Why would you pass it up for the potentially messier and more awkward option?

Because sex, for a lot of people, turns into an exploration of possibilities. Especially when you're together for a long time and not having sex with other people you have to explore new things in the bedroom to keep things fresh. The same old routine over and over gets boring really quick for both parties.
