Eh, just because it's mainly targeted towards kids (more families, I think) doesn't mean it should only be viewed as such. A good show's just a good show. Plus at least half of the Gravity Falls fandom seems to be in their 20s, so don't worry, it's not

They're already talking about resurrecting it in some fashion into the future. So, all hope isn't
quite lost, depending how hard they intend to milk it anyway.
