Part 6

Lance' eyes flashed with amazement as he peered over into the arena. It was very deep, he estimated around 1 mile across and 1.5 miles deep. Wire-meshing and steel bars lined the edge, caging in the combatants and keeping the spectators safe. At the bottom lay sandstone, some parts of it were covered in a red paint substance...maybe blood, but Lance was too weak to try and figure out what was what. He flunked down, his chest hitting the mud and sinking in to it a couple of centimetres or so. His head lopped over the edge and he watched, weakly, as the creatures fought for survival. A white, thicky substance slowly trickled out of his mouth...some might say it was drool, they would be mistaken as it was his blood. It was like liquid crystal, it glistened and seemed to look whiter on his sin-black skin.

The two Orkhid slaves were positioned in a fighting stance. One of them was male and the other female, they were both partially naked but had not suffered any wounds as of yet. The females hair was a reddish colour, this was considered a gift in Orkhid religion. The male' hair was a brownish colour. They were both around 5 footish and held 6-7 ft pykes in their hands. Sharp glass graced the tip of the sticks, ready to be stained with the blood of a attacker. Their opposer was a Gorek...a giant beast of a creature. Much like a Gorilla but larger and more blood thirsty and powerful (Imagine Mammoth in 'Thrill Kill' and thats what a Gorek is like.). Its eyes glowed green and its blackish fur was already stained by a combatants blood. It growled, bending its giant fore arms so it could have its body lowered enough to see eye to eye with the Orkhids.

Female: "What do we do? We didn't even come up with a plan!!"

The female fighter was edging around to the right of the creature, her pyke pointing directly at it. The male gave her a side ways glance and coughed nervously. His pupils were dilated with fear and he wasn't moving as quickly as he should of been, infact he wasn't even moving at all. The Gorek was merely growling, watching the pathetic creature stand their in pure fear. The fear smelt good and beckoned the beast to move in closer.

Female: "Alib!! Alib...For f*cks sake move!!"

The female hissed her words hurridly, in fear for her fighting partners life. The Gorek was moving slowly towards him, its stomach seemed to grumble...either that or it was growling. Alib stood their, frozen with horror his weapon held veritcally as this monstrosity moved ever more closer...seemingly getting bigger as it did so. He looked it up and down, noticing the blood stains dried into its black coat. Finally it stopped, inches a way from him. Its fists were still firmly placed on the ground as it leaned in closer and sniffed its prey. Its jaws opened and 2 tongues flopped out, and moved independantly towards the face of Alib, licking it and leaving its sticky saliva as it did so. Its bottom jaw was lined with splintered K9's as was the top. They were stained with tarta and plaque, the gums showed the redness of gingivitas. Finally it made its move its left fist rising off of the ground...readying to kill, but was immediatly stopped by a sharp pain in its side. Turning its torso to look at what had done this it just saw a glimpse of what looked like red hair. The smell of the female...the smell of her desperation. It was enough...enough to end the idle biding of time. Enough to start the killing...

(OOC: Again thanx for the support and sorri if its rubbish...i always do them late on a night...plahness!! Oh and apologies for the rubbish spelling!!)
