Anyway, no, only caring for close friends and family doesn't make you a bad person, but it doesn't automatically make you a good person, either. One would have to actually do something to be considered a good person. Why do you think people don't stop fights when they see them, apart from the fact that it's entertaining? Well, if they're on their own it's because they're scared and if they're in a crowd it's because of the mob mentality.
I hate this thing that "most people are good people." Nah, most people are just people, and people are arseholes.
