Err hmmm... I didnt really think AE was all that funny. I found the fleeches amusing, but that's probably just me. And besides, AE had it's dark moments. I almost jumped in my seat the first time that the blind mud turned around in the opening.
And another thing! Fart humor and slapstick
was quite frequent in Monty Python. In fact it was in every single opening. And if your comparing Seinfeld to AE, Syd, I cant quite see this similarity in humor that your talking about.
