The season finale of Rick and Morty.

Holy fuck.

It pretty confirms it for me. Rick and Morty is the best animated show I've ever watched. The consistent quality of the show; The writing, voice acting, animation is all just outstanding.
Rick and Morty is the best. I got on the bandwagon after season 1 ended and I loved every minute of it. Check out Community is you can stream it, it has that same realistic heartfulness as Rick and Morty. Community is a slow burn sometimes but most of the episodes are fantastic.

BoJack is better. Watch BoJack. Anyway I'm off to watch the new Rick and Morty.
Bojack ain't better than Rick and Morty dog, it's too self loathing for its own good. I might have agreed with you before Season 2 just went in circles and tried to shoehorn some Bojack/Todd fun at the end but R&M usually plays things for a more meaningful tone, while Bojack pretends to do that and has it fall apart. It's part of the structure, but it loses something nonetheless.

I didn't get that business with the Owl either, like, was she 18 when she went into the coma? Because that would make her a 48 year old high school graduate...I dunno, maybe I forgot the explanation.

Season 2 of Bojack was relatively superior to S2 of Rick and Morty but that meaningfulness feels more important. Neither series had an episode that could compete with Rick Potion #9 or Downer Ending, which are just awesome. Bojack definitely has a better credits song.

Looking forward to season 3 of both though, and maybe another holiday special.
