(OOC: lol, thx for the replies and stuff. Wasn't really what i was expecting...but still, yey!! lol.)

The sun was beating down on the working slaves. Some were in the mines were the sun could not reach thei bear skin their however the dust and dirt infiltrated their lungs...causing most to pass out through lack of oxygen. The slaves that did pass out were dragged out and left in the sun until they were concious once more. The Mudokon' who were watching over the slaves were hot and bothered. They were on raised platforms so they could see most of the 'workers' in their vicinity and notify the guards of any suspicious behavior. Although this two was hard as the platforms were absorbing the heat and causing them to get to extremely hot temperatures which, in turn, caused the Mud' to get uncomfortable and tireder. Lance was skulking around on the border of the slave compound, making sure he wasn't spotted. He was weak and solidifying rapidly. All of his decent powers had gone, including the power to disperse. His eyes were glowing dimly and his wings were shedding their feathers. A small beetle scampered across his foot...Lance snarled and quickly stamped on it...smiling as he realised he had abit of power...over insects at least. Cheering and whooping in the distance brought him out of his weakened daze, lifting his head in a north bound direction he realised some sort of parade was going on. Maybe not a parade, but something that was getting the locals riled up. He staggered forwards, the mud sucking at his black legs and feet...staining them brown. As he neared he could make out certain chants and jeers. Such as 'Kill, kill, kill' and 'Slice him' this informed Lance that it was a fight of some sort and he quickened his pace. Hoping to be able to get one of the wounded and drain them. He halted and collapsed to his knee' as he saw a large circular hole 19 ft or so in front of him. He cocked his head and slowly crawled forwards, the mud slipping through his claws. The cheering was louder and as Lance peered over the edge he realised what he had reached...it was a Arena. A Battle Arena...

(OOC: Sorri if its a bit crap...im pre-occupied and knackered)
