I watched all of The Thick of It on Netflix. If you're a fan of Yes (Prime) Minister, then you'll love it. It's scarily accurate political satire, tied together by a bunch of pompous manchildren and Peter Capaldi yelling in his beautiful Scottish accent.

There were 2 or 3 episodes where it got dangerously close to actual recent events in Australian politics, especially the flat scandal in the 3rd episode. Also stabbing the female leader of your party in the back, and some of the circumstances around that.

Seriously though if you love ridiculous politicians working on their own petty agenda and coming across as gigantic cocks you will love this show. If you think modern UK-style politics is a stupid media circus you will love this show. If you like the idea of Peter Capaldi screaming amazing insults at people then you will love this show.

NSFW, contains very loud use of the word cunt:

The 4th season especially was a much more dramatic change of pace, but they did some good things with the development of Tucker as a character and his eventual downfall. I missed the action-jackson yelling busy scheming problem-solving sequences from the first 2 seasons, but it was still good political satire.
