Because it's not classed as a "real job" to some people. Whatever a "real job" means. It's something new and people can't seem to understand how making videos online can be classed as a job. It's a very close minded way of thinking about it.

People just assume that they make crap videos with very little effort and get payed for it. Whilst hard working people do more and earn little in comparison. Whilst in reality, people who are big YouTubers are actually really hard working, dedicated and actually work more hours than most jobs out there.

It's a stupid argument which only makes you come across as jealous or just petty. The people who are big YouTubers got into it by luck. Sure a lot of it dedication too but and only a small fraction of people actually ever make it big enough to make it their job. So I really don't think it's worth discussing why "it's not a real job".

Also god forbid people actually enjoy their job. I guess that's what a real job is. You need to hate it and resent the world because you have it.

And as for TB. He puts up with so much unneeded crap. yes he has said some controversial things and maybe it's just because you don't like his videos or his sense of humor. But in the past but in no way can you say he's a bad guy. He just tries to make things right within the gaming industry and sheds light on topics which need covering.

I don't get it. Whatever the reason why, I just think he gets way too much hate.
