Bringing back this thread because I've been going to the cinema a lot lately.

Firstly, I saw Terminator Genisys.

Whilst I thought the film was a bit all over the place and was really hard to follow, Genisys was a definite return to form and felt like the long lost Terminator 3.

My absolute favorite part of the film was it paying homage to the original 2. You have another T-1000 in an almost identical cop uniform, the original T-800 with some of the best CGI i've seen to make a actor young again and of course the classic lines and look. I honestly enjoyed it because of mainly that. The actual film itself was confusing to say the least.

And yesterday I watched Ant-Man

Talk about a surprise. I wasn't expecting much when I went into the cinema but man I was satisfied at the end. The film doesn't in no way take itself seriously. It knows what the premise is and it has fun with it. I laughed out loud several times, especially during the end; which I won't spoil because it's just too good.

Yeah the story was predicable but it was just an enjoyable film, I didn't really mind.

I recommend both films, but I'd have to say I enjoyed Ant-Man much more than Terminator.
