I know it's hard work and I know it costs a lot of money but will you please make us a new game? Like, an actual brand new game? Then you can have my money and we'll all be so much happier!

These things aren't mutually exclusive. If a new game gets made, it'll be by JAW. If MO HD gets made, it'll be by Once Square One Games. They can happen at the same time. MO HD being made will not do anything to delay a new game from JAW.
