Do your self a favor Shade. Actually play Nintendo games before commenting on them.
Nintendo games; New and old, are amazing. They're just good fun. Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid. These franchises are iconic for a reason. I've followed Nintendo closely than any other gaming company because they always deliver excellent games with creative ideas.
Also i'd say you don't need any nostalgia to enjoy them. All nostalgia does is add to your enjoyment. Perhaps it can shroud you when it's a really old game, but I feel the majority of older titles still hold up to this day.
