Finally... fucking FINALLY.
After almost 150 hours on and off playing over the course of 3 years. I've finally beaten Dragon Quest 8: Journey of the Cursed King.
Without a doubt my favorite PS2 game and one of my favorite games of all time.
Seriously guys, If your a RPG and/or a JRPG fan, you NEED to play this game. I'm not even that big on JRPGs but this game was fucking incredible.
This game is huge. A grand adventure taking the player to every possible location, battling hundreds of different enemies and encountering loads of unique characters. A massive amount of complexity to the gameplay. Tons of items, weapons and spells. The characters are lovable and memorable, the story is wonderful. Aaaaah this game just so is fantastic.
Hell, I'm not even 100% done yet. Still got a few things to do post game.
It's coming to the 3DS in Japan soon, hopefully it will be available over here in the EU and the US.
