If they figure out a way to port it on android - great! It certainly wouldn't be the version
I would be interested in playing, but if it can reach people who otherwise would never come in contact with the Oddworld franchise, that's great.
I think it's a good thing OWI are expanding their franchise to as many platforms as possible, because that ensures they keep existing as a company and at the same time maintains a stable cash flow that enables them to make new games.

I can barely control NNT on a physical controller, let alone a virtual one. I'd just prefer the Vita port.

Yes, that is my only concern about the mobile version, too. But I'm sure they figure out a way that controls nicely on touch screens.
