Abe’s Exoddus holds three things over Oddysee: the Quicksave function massively reducing frustration, the more diverse set of controls, enemies and hazards creating huge amounts of puzzle variety, and the increased number of locations visited which all have unique aesthetics and give you plenty of sweet environments to look at.
While it doesn’t have the same story impact as AO due to being a side game, it beats it in pretty much every other category.

The only thing that bugged me about Exoddus is that in AO, two little hand tats give him the ability to turn into a vengeful Godd, while the arguably better tattoo only gives him the same abilities as a glass of water and an aspirin...

Perhaps that tattoo grants more healing abilities than what we’ve seen in the games so far?
