It's true. Some of the stuff you learn you won't use. History in American schools is complete shit in grades K-12 anyway.

Knowledge is out of the question, it's all about the grade you have gotten. It's like forced memorization of things deemed "important" by society. And what do you get in return for good grades? a better school.....a better job...more money.
Yes, but teachers don't have time to individually help everyone. Time is money... the whole system has become very generic and mechanical. It would be hard to custom teach ppl, unless they weeded out all the low-lifes that don't give a @#$% about learning. (Man, I hate that small-minded ignorance)

Another thing, I've been hearing things about public schools pushing religion and politics onto the children... That's annoying too...
Its terrible. All of my teachers are way too patriotic and they think capitalism is the best thing ever, and we are the best country in the world, and "If you won't be proud of America, you need to get out of my class!" (a real quote...) blah blah blah. And then my history teacher starts pushing us shit on communism. To sum it all up, this is what she said: "Communism is a terrible government and could never be as good as capitalism. In communism, the government chooses everything for you and there is only one brand you can buy, and they choose your job, and everyone earns the same amount of money and everyone is poor and you have no freedom..." Bullshit.
