I know so many people who felt weird buying the physical version of this game, because the people on the counter inevitably thought that they were just huge perverts.
Yeah, I could see that. Thankfully at this point it's pretty much been accepted into the pantheon of cult/classic/really-good-but-kinda-underappreciated titles of the 7th generation, so the cashier at EB just seemed to dig the fact that I actually wanted to go out of my comfort zone for a more bizarre experience. Which is good considering how the Xbox version's cover art features the main character along with a bunch of sheep seemingly crawling out of Katherine (not to be confused with Catherine's) butthole. That even weirded me out.

But yeah, I'm really enjoying Catherine so far. The puzzle's are just mind-bending enough to feel challenging but not too frustrating. The real meat of the game seems to lie in the story and how you shape it. It almost reminds me of Heavy Rain in a way, only much less stressful.

In fact I'm enjoying it so much I'm probably gonna pick up another Atlus game as soon as I'm done (Persona 3 most likely). Great developers, from what I hear.
