Part 4
The pair walked down the filth ridden streets. Otto speaking to him in a soft tone of voice. Telling him about the true nature of Barker's intentions and why he teamed up with the Glukkons in the first place. Why he backstabbed him...a thousand times over.
Jake: "B-But i dont understand. He doesn't hate me...we were close...like brothers!!"
Otto chuckled, patting Jakes shoulder as he did so.
Otto: "Everyone in this world is a bastard...they will do anything...for money. Its quite a interesting world you have here...it is easy."
Jake stopped and turned to him.
Jake: "What? What do you mean...you make it sound as if you dont belong here."
Otto carried on walking, he raised a white arm, the moonlight making it even more bleach like, and clicked his fingers.
Otto: "Keep up...we wouldn't want to lose you now. I have something IMPORTANT to show you."
The word 'important' was overly empthasised how ever he didn't realised this and the reptile trotted along behind him, wondering what was going to be shown to.
Otto: "You know how to use a gun, correct?"
Jake: "Yeh...but i dont want to and never have. I'm not one for shooting people. I dont condole violence, its a horrid thing."
The Orkhid span around, his mouth seemed to stretch from ear to ear in a big, chesire like smile.
Otto: "You fool...heh, you dont condole violence. How the Hell did your club survive!?"
Jake scratched the back of his head and laughed.
Jake: "Me and my punters had a mutual understanding, i spose."
A chuckle escaped Otto's lips and then he darted into a alleyway. Shouting to Jake to follow him. As Jake hadn't anywhere else to go or be he obeyed the order and disserpeard into the shadows. When Jake finally caught upto the Orkhid they were stood in a alley which was swarming with Canids. Vile, peasant like creatures. They resembled Orkhids but wore a type of Gas mask. Their skin was a brownish colour and chains were used as jewelry. Pipes were used as weapons and anything that wandered into their alley way territory...was used as food.
Otto: "So...have you ever been in a fight?"
The creature seemed to dis-regarded the fact that they were in imminent danger.
Jake: "Once or twice...when i was young. What are we doing here?"
Otto: "Good. Well, like they say: Its like riding a bicycle...you never forget."
The creature stepped around Jake, ignoring his question. When Otto was directly behind him that was when Jake felt a hard pat on the back that seemed to push him forwards, knocking him into a dustbin which in turn alerted the creatures to his and the Orkhids wherabouts. Chitters of exited, hungry Canids rose up from the darkness. The alleyway was mostly shadow...which served for good hiding places for such predatory 'animals'. Jake span around to tell Otto to run, but he wasn't there.
Jake: "Otto...Otto!?"
The Orkhid never replied and Jake was becoming increasingly worried. He span around again to face the creatures, making sure they weren't sprinting towards him. Noting that they wasn't (as of yet anyway) he turned and ran towards the road. The alleyways exit was his only hope. But Canids were already scaling the wall to block his path. A clawed paw grabbed his shoulder and span him around. It was a female Canid...with a child clinging to her side. Jake felt almost sorry for the pathetic creature...knowing that its offspring would most likely die within the next week or so if it didn't get a good meal. But as the other creatures moved in for the kill...his survival instinct kicked in...and he wanted to live...
(OOC: Rubbishy pooness...UGH!!)
