They are very low-res, and that's a fact. Consider small development team and Unity limitations, though.

Look at the scene complexity between your image and the NNT one. It's a shitty comparison.
Anyway, it looks like some things/everything in your example goes through some kind of grit-detail shader anyway, which masks how low-res some of the textures in that image are.
Also like Manco said, it will look nicer on a 4k monitor.
