Not to sound like a shill for my corporate overlords, but you should check out Amazon self-publishing. It get the books on Kindle devices and lets people print on demand if they want a physical copy.
You'd still need to go out and market the hell out of the book. But I really don't think filming an advertisement is the best way to do it. Think bigger than your little town. Make sure you've got a website and a Twitter account, and go shill yourself places where people discuss their own books. I'd start on Reddit.
