What about the Xbox 360 gamepad? That's pretty much the standard for PC gamepad layouts, and most games with gamepad support will switch in the Xbox buttons in menus. Most 3rd-party pads also mimic the 360, so they usually match up.

Since the game is coming out on Xbox one and like you said, it's a very standard controller for PC. I reckon it will have 360 support.
