I can't remember if anyone here is a big Demon's Souls/Dark Souls fan, but I'm nuts for the series. The latest game, Bloodborne is due out in February and it is looking fantastic.

If you're not familiar, the series takes a different approach to difficulty requiring players to be more attentive and conservative with their playstyle, relying on quick wits and playstyle determining stats rather than lots of HP and high-damage weapons.
It's a great series overall and worth looking into if you enjoy Action Fantasy. The biggest draw for me is that the games don't beat you over the head with an overemphasized plot, you are typically working for yourself as the Player Character (or you assume you are).

Bloodborne is looking like more of the same, but substantially more horror-oriented, with large doses of diseased animals and distended limbs. The gameplay has done away with shields entirely and is focused on taking a highly offensive approach compared to previous titles. It makes use of 18th and 19th Century firearms for an interesting critical hit system. I'm obviously super excited for it, and I'll probably snag a PS4 just to play it.

no skeletons yet but it's too soon to assume we'll be left bone dry in that department
