I've heard a lof of bad (or medicore) about Apollo Justice. Is it really that meh?

I like the main plot (Though am in the minority for doing so) but the middle two cases are
dire. Trucy is fantastic but no Maya and some story elements were quite obviously rewritten a good way through production. I did like the prosecutor a lot, but Apollo is a really weak character compared to Phoenix (Though weirdly he manages to be the best character in Dual Destinies).

By the way, I still can't get over how inconsitent (story-wise) 1.5 DS-exclusive case is considering the second game.

It was written at the same time as Apollo Justice and is loaded with sly in jokes. Gant was a pretty cool villain and let's leave it at that.

Try not to spoil yourself. In particular stay well away from Godot's sprite sheet.
