I didnt play tbe original either, and I absolutely loved enemy unknown and within. I wasnt used to a game being so brutal.

I was playing last night when the largest difficulty spike I have ever encountered decided to have it's way with me. I was doing alright (or so I thought) I would occasionally lose members and would try to rotate them so I wouldn't be attached when one died. Then the mission happened where the enemy
turns civilians into zombies and I just couldn't handle how much more difficult it got with that.
