I like Capaldi, but he doesn't feel like the Doctor for me yet. Perhaps I've just gotten too used to 10 and 11's manic energy.

I didn't mind time-heist. It's the one with the stupid bloody terminator-spider robot oh lol the companion has a boyfriend episode I was talking about, which I absolutely couldn't stand. Story telling at its worst.

I disagree with that, too. Usually these earthbound sitcom episodes get on my nerves but I found this one really fun and thought it was a great way to expand on these characters that really needed expanding on.
Don't get me started on that Harry Potter watch and the plot holes it introduces, though...
