If I can wait and give JAW 7 euros for Alf's Escape I will. I'd rather give JAW money toward it than give Sony 7 euros for some subscription I don't want. It would be very nice to have it confirmed I can do this though.
Or can I just send some money in an envelope or something for a code. I feel a bit stupid, but I'm still quite confused as to what the deal is with purchasing Alf's Escape.

It seems that if you have a PS account you can just download the game, Sony probably assumes most people who have a PS4 have live, or whatever their equivalent is. I don't want to spread misinformation but that's what I have gleaned from what's being said.
