Hate to break it to you, but either that's his (Jewish) wife pretending to be a Palestinian, or he's not really a Chassidic Jew. A man at his level of religiosity wouldn't even shake hands with a woman outside of his immediate family, let alone kiss one on the lips.

But how do you tell the difference between someone who really is that religious, and someone who feels pressured to pretend to be but people who are?
