I’ve known people with hearing impediments, vision impediments, physical challenges in one form or another. What has interested me on a human, cosmic level was when solutions come and someone says ‘You’re colour blind? We can fix that now!’ and the person says ‘You know what? I don’t want it fixed.’ I’ve witnessed that people hang on to their oddities or uniqueness even though the don’t always logically understand. In Abe’s case, in time he will come to embrace and get more of an understanding so when those stitches come out it’s going to be one pretty karmic experience.
