Lorne had an issue with calling the game a "HD" remake. Since "HD" implies, to a lot of the gaming world, that all the remake is is a remastered version of the game - rather than a complete reworking from the ground up. And many may not feel it's worth the higher price.

It's more that we don't really want people thinking it's the same engine with a shiny coat of paint, when in reality it's an
everything from scratch type affair.
Not a single actual part of the original Oddysee remains.
