What's next for Abe and Munch?

This is what I don't care about, and even having additional information of what's planned for the quintology doesn't pull me in enough to care about what will be. Also, they're kind of boring characters when it gets down to it. Abe was most interesting in AO when you didn't actually see how he interacted with other characters.

What do the billion other species on Oddworld look like? and what other amazing environments are on the planet? I've been dying to see more of the world for too long. And the fact it's becoming a reality thanks to Just Add Water, I couldn't be happier with gaming right now.

These are all things that can provided through side stories like SW. The world is just so vast and there's so many possibilities, it's hard to want to stick with the same handful of characters in one small section of the world.
