Maybe I was just more mature, because by 2003 I was already outgrowing Pokemon. I was interested in the CCG for a bit, but that died when I started buying YuGiOh cards, which would have been in 2003-2004.
e: Is it even possible to outgrow pokemon games? Maybe I just had a deprived childhood.
