Watched The Raid a few nights ago after hearing about it from a friend. Watched the film with literally no knowledge of it, I was surprised it was actually a Indonesian martial arts film. (I Honestly thought it was an American action film.  )
Anyway, the film was excellent. The fighting was really good and well choreographed. Just fantastic. The action was nicely paced and some scenes were pretty tense. Enjoyed the crap out of it. |
Yeah. The Raid is really really good, and the editing is so unique compared to most action films. The lack of quick edits during action scenes means that they can't get away with badly choreographed fight scenes, and the choreographing is excellent. I can't wait to see the second one.
