Actually I've heard the dub is very good with the exception of a few weird scripting decisions.
You can read more about it here, but basically Mikasa becomes snarky (She's not), Armin becomes arrogant (Like hell he is?) and Eren waxes poetic about their plight (lol what).
Still the best thing to come out of the franchise.
