Believe it or not there are Slig sound effects in Carmageddon TDR 2000. The levels have backgrounds noises like birds chirping but in some levels you can hear the BS and Smo BS noises the Sligs make when you die in AO or AE.

I read somewhere that most of the sound and music in AO was pieced together from a Royalty Free Library which is why you'll hear bits of the Oddworld Soundtrack cropping up in 90's TV Shows and such.
