The last few years have been tough. Having interviews and nothing coming of it can be get disheartening. Voluntary work is definitely good for getting you started and you'll get to meet lots of interesting people. Keep your passion alive because it's all too easy to lose faith and get depressed... but focus on the good things and keep striving for what you want to achieve.
