Manco it's probably because of tkhe original box arts which were predominantly orange.
Orange wasn't used much in the game itself though, like you said.

I'm actually mainly thinking of the desert and that shot from outside the brewery, which the boxart reminds me of way too much.
In reguards to the AE remake title thing: New 'n' Tasty was bad enough, if they ever remake Abe's Exoddus they'd better just fucking call it Abe's Exoddus.
