Miles better than Yeezus. I mean, I've listened to Yeezus more but the more I listened to it the more I started to get annoyed by the autotune moaning shit that goes on in almost every song on it. Run The Jewels was definitely one of the best hip hop releases 2013.
Oh yeah and bungle download that Flatbush Zombies mixtape, it's too good.

I dunno if I'd say miles.. though Yeezus has kinda grown off me for the reason you stated, plus some of the lyrics are just cringeworthy. But I think the production (my favourite thing about hiphop generally) overall is more memorable and interesting than RTJ - and that's coming from a huge El-P fanboy. I thought it was great, but at the same time I feel like El's best days are behind him. Despite him producing my album of the year for 2012.
The rapping was top notch, though, and A Christmas Fucking Miracle and Banana Clipper are some of my favourite songs of last year. But I really enjoyed Kanye's really experimental approach to hip-hop on Yeezus, and it was really damn cohesive and almost felt cinematic to a degree. Sort of like watching some kinda of grotesque film about the dark side of life as a massive celebrity. RTJ on the other hand just felt like a half hour of bangers, which is definitely sweet and fun and all, but doesn't have a ton of staying power for me.
