I too am British so I watch Doctor Who otherwise I get the ol' chopping block.

Anywho, I watch Doctor Who for much of the same reasons already mentioned. I want to see if it manages to pull itself back out of the ditch it's dug, this coupled witht he fact I grew up with it is what keeps me watching.

My first memories of watching Doctor Who was the first episode of the reboot back in March 2005. My family had gone on holiday to a static-caravan/chalet park in Skegness at the same time, The episode aired whilst we were over there and though I could barely tell what was going on due to the scart lead making the TV black and white and the signal constantly cutting out, (Gotta love those old analog TV's) it was the start of a kind of family tradition where every Saturday is was on my mum, my brothers and I would gather round and watch it.

But yes, the writers should be hung for all the shit they pull.
