What I find really weird is how throughout this thread there’s been a ton of “I didn’t like this episode/thought this plot was dumb/didn’t enjoy the writing/thought the ending was unsatisfying” posts.
From a bunch of people who continue to watch the show anyway.

There's a lot of bad episodes, but a lot of good ones, too. And most of the bad ones are only actually bad when compared to the best of the good ones. On any other show they'd count as being pretty okay. And even when you take in to account the irredeemably shit episodes, the good ones outweigh the bad ones enough to make it worth watching.
Also, bear in mind that we're fanboys. We bitch far more than we praise, even when we're feeling pretty happy.
